Everyone who has been involved in any sports team, whether coach, parent, or player, knows that organization is very important, as well very much a chore. Well, not anymore with Soccer StatWiz. It is a program that has the combined features of a player database, schedule manager, lineup manager, and team statistic graphs.
In Team Manager mode you can view and edit your team's database of players. You can enter their contact information, including their name, address, phone number, e-mail, birthday, the equipment they were issued, and anything else that you would need to say about the player (in the "notes" section).
Schedule Manager is a view that allows you to enter your team's games and practices. The events are listed in chronological order and can be printed off (however, no print preview or any other means of viewing the calendar is available). In Lineup Manager view, you can arrange your players into the positions that they will be playing in. The players' names are dragged from the right column onto their place in the field.
To view your team's statistics, use the Stats Manager. This view shows a table with each of the players' names in the left column and various categories of statistics across the top. Unfortunately, these categories are abbreviated in such a way that they do not lend themselves easily to deciphering (viewing the table as a graph will display the unabbreviated categories). The Stats Manager draws its information from what you enter in the lineup and schedule views, as well as what you enter on the Stats Manager mode. This table can be filtered to show only specific games, and can also be displayed in bar graph format.
With all of these options, views, and more, you will have no trouble managing your soccer team, whether it is a bunch of little tykes or a high school sports team.
